What is Bounds Green Parent and Teacher Association?

Your PTA is made up of school families and staff who fundraise to buy equipment and support curriculum-enhancing school trips, as well as school clubs and workshops. Thanks to your generosity the PTA has also been able to help fund brilliant new facilities for the children such as the Astroturf pitch and the new infant playground equipment.

As well as organising fundraising events such as the Christmas Market, Summer Fair and Back to School Rave, Bounds Green School PTA has launched a regular giving option for families who want to donate to the school on a regular basis.

With the difficult financial situation schools currently face, many parents have said they want to help by donating regularly to the school so the PTA are pleased to be launching a regular giving programme for those who can support the school in this way. This, alongside the vital funds raised through existing events, will help to provide reliable, ongoing support.

Thanks to your generosity, Bounds Green Schools PTA has helped to fund:

• Chromebooks for pupils
• The school mural
• Transport for school trips
• Art display
• History workshops
• A nursery toy library

Why have regular giving from parents?

Bounds Green School, like many other schools around the country, is facing a real-terms cut in funding. In an ideal world, the school would be able to fund everything needed for the children from existing budgets. However, that is not the reality and so the PTA is launching regular giving as a way to help raise more funds and ensure that our children continue to have access to stimulating school trips and other activities that will enhance their learning.

Regular giving increases funding for the school and make activities more affordable for all. It also allows the school to keep discretionary funds for children who need it.

How does regular giving work?

You can set up payments by card or direct debit. The school is grateful for every donation and all funds will go towards enhancing the school experience for our children. We know that many families are facing financial pressures themselves and so any contribution is hugely appreciated.
